Dr. Kellye Rice is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). Since 2012, Dr. Rice has been treating sleep apnea and TMJ problems with Oral Appliance Therapy. She has education and experience above the average to treat certain sleep apnea patients with an oral appliance. Her higher level of membership in these two organizations allows her to serve her patients with the highest quality treatments for craniofacial pain, snoring, and obstructive sleep apnea.
She is also certified in the use of the latest applications of the Fotona Light Walker Twin Laser. She is one of 250 dentists in the U.S. trained in NightLase – treatment of the soft palate for the reduction of snoring. This non-surgical treatment requires no anesthetics and no downtime.
Dr. Rice and her husband, Jeff, have been married since 1984. They have three grown children: Haley, Hunter, and Hope. Dr. Rice loves theater, music, reading, jewelry making, and enjoys playing piano in her spare time.
A member of the Otter Creek congregation, Dr. Rice is a board member for AGAPE Nashville, which is now home to Morning Star Sanctuary, a shelter for victims of domestic violence, that Dr. Rice has been involved with for over 15 years.
